Bryce Harper

Bryce Harper is an American professional baseball player. He is a left-handed right fielder and designated hitter for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is one of the heavily touted draft players in recent history. Before joining the Philadelphia Phillies, Harper played for the Washington Nationals from 2012 through 2018.

Bryce was born on October 16, 1992 at Las Vegas, Henderson, Nevada. His father is Ron Harper and mother is Sherilyn Harper. His father is an ironworker in Las Vegas. Ron is a very hard worker which influenced Bryce. He learned his work ethic from watching his father.

He has an older brother Bryan, who also plays baseball for the Washington Nationals organization. 

Bryce Harper and his wife Kayla Varner were married at the San Diego California Temple in December 2016. 

Both have two young children, first child is son Krew Aron who was born in Las Vegas on August 22, 2019, and a daughter Brooklyn Elizabeth who was born in November 2020. 

Harper started playing baseball at a very young age. He has played for his high school at Las Vegas and also played for college team of Southern Nevada. He was an outstanding player in his college also gave wonderful performance in school.

• Harper has started his professional career in 28 April 2010. He was first pick by Washington Nationals in the 2010 MLB Draft.
