The Formula One 2023 Team is finally settled. Find below information about your favorite team. Some updates which you must know before 2023 season starts. If you are a fan of German racing driver Sebastian Vettel then certainly you are going to miss him, because he has retired from F1, 2022 was his last season.

Mick Schumacher and Daniel Ricciardo are also out from the new season.  Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri as rookies joined in William and McLaren respectively and Nico Hülkenberg returns after two seasons.

🇬🇧 Red Bull Racing

Red Bull is not going to change their Championship winning duo, with Max Verstappen. Max is the poster boy of the team, he will be going all out for a hat-trick of titles in 2023. Sergio Perez is serving as the perfect wingman. Verstappen will stay with Red Bull till 2028, and Perez will continue till 2024, he will look forward to do much better to win as he did in 2022.

🇮🇹 Ferrari

  • 5 – Carlos Sainz (246)

Scuderia Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz are continuing with the team till 2024 season. They ended the 2022 season at 2nd and 5th in the Drivers’ standings respectively. Ferrari is hoping to get the Constructors’ title again next year with this strong driver duo. They have two proven race winners. Leclerc is in the hunt for the title again next year.

Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton is going to stay with Mercedes until the end of the 2023 season. 2022 was the first season when he failed to either get a pole or a victory but his companion George Russell managed both and he is well placed to build on that experience in 2023, he will stay longer with the team. Both drivers finished 4th (Russell) and 6th (Hamilton) in drivers standing in 2022.

Alpine has brought in Pierre Gasly from AlphaTauri for the 2023 season. Gasly came into Alonso’s seat at Alpine as Alonso departed from the team and joined Aston Martin. Ocon would like to use his prior experience at the team to lead the charge.

Alpine has done well in the 2022 season, they topped the midfield. The Alpine team has a lot of expectations from this French duo next year as well. 

🇬🇧 McLaren

McLaren brought Oscar Piastri in place of Daniel Ricciardo who had left the McLaren team a year earlier on a mutual agreement. Lando Norris has a long-term contract with the team. He begins his fifth season at McLaren alongwith Piastri. Lando was the only driver outside the big three teams to score a podium in 2022  and he would like to repeat the same performance next season.

🇨🇭 Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo is continuing their same team Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu in 2023. Highly experienced Bottas coupled with Zhou will certainly leave some mark in 2023. This pair had finished 6th in the Constructors’ Championship this season. Valtteri has a multi-year deal with Alfa Romeo, while Zhou  got a one-year extension based on his performance.

🇬🇧 Aston Martin

  • 9 – Fernando Alonso (81)

Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso joined Aston Martin in place of four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who has retired from Formula 1 in the 2022 season. Fernando Alonso will be paired alongside Lance Stroll. This new pair will certainly try to come to the front of the field. Lance Stroll is the son of team owner Lawrence Stroll.

Kevin Magnussen has joined back in Formula One ahead of the 2023 season in place of Nikita Mazepin. Haas replaced Mick Schumacher with Nico Hulkenberg, who was the reserve driver for Aston Martin this year.

🇮🇹 AlphaTauri

The Japanese racer Yuki Tsunoda stepped up as team leader in his third season, he will be paired with Nyck de Vries who was the Mercedes reserve driver in 2022 who comes very highly rated. The 2023 season will be Yuki’s third Formula 1 season with AlphaTauri. Earlier Vries drove his Williams into 9th position, scoring 2 points in his maiden F1 race.

  • Logan Sargeant

Alex Albon will stay at Williams for 2023, along with him American rookie Logan Sargeant will join him after picking up the required number of Super Licence points with a stellar rookie performance in the F2 championship.
